We are pleased to announce the launch of our new community-based rehabilitation clinic in Gaza, expanding our community health services to complement two existing field clinics that provide primary and specialized care.
Our dedicated team of clinicians is now delivering essential care to help people rebuild their physical function, restore their independence, and reclaim their daily lives. Operating in an environment where the entry of medicines, medical equipment, and other essential supplies remains severely restricted, our clinicians combine available resources with adaptive clinical practices to continue delivering safe, patient-centered care.
The new clinic, established in premises provided by the local community in recognition of the trust and partnerships built through our services, responds to an urgent and growing need. More than 43,000 people in Gaza are estimated to be living with life-changing injuries, including over 5,000 amputations and thousands with neurological trauma. Access to structured rehabilitation remains extremely limited, with existing services unable to meet the overwhelming scale of need.
