Gaza Community Clinics

Rozana's Gaza Community Clinics provide primary and specialized healthcare to displaced and affected communities, delivering essential services directly to those with limited access to medical care

Catastrophic consequences of conflict

Israel’s war with Hamas, following its brutal attack against Israelis on October 7, has led to devastating consequences for Palestinian civilians in Gaza and created a severe and protracted humanitarian crisis. Tens of thousands have died, and hundreds of thousands are injured or sick. Approximately 1.9 million people, about 85% of Gaza’s population, are displaced and living in densely packed tent refugee camps.

In the health sector, only 3 of Gaza's 36 hospitals are fully operational, with 11 more partially operational. There are 11 field hospitals, but only 2—the UAE and IMC—offer comprehensive services. A severe shortage of supplies and equipment is exacerbated by UN agencies deprioritizing health-related aid, which constitutes only 6% of the aid entering the Strip.

Around 350,000 individuals with chronic illnesses and 485,000 people with mental health disorders face treatment disruptions. The 1.9 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) live in precarious conditions, with a high risk of communicable diseases due to overcrowding and poor sanitation. Only 120 of the 353 IDP shelters have access to healthcare facilities.

What we're doing

Access to Healthcare

We establish clinics in strategic locations across Gaza to provide essential healthcare services to displaced and underserved populations. By bringing care directly to communities with few or no medical facilities, we serve thousands of patients and expand access through new clinics, including our facility in Gaza City.

Quality and Continuity

We provide ongoing care for both acute and chronic conditions, with timely interventions that prevent complications and early referrals for complex cases, ensuring patients receive the care they need when they need it.

Data-Driven Impact

By using service data to guide medication planning and clinic operations, we continuously improve patient care and health outcomes, making every visit more effective and responsive to community needs.
