Rehabilitation and Training

Rehabilitation and training are crucial components in our mission to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes in the region.

Al Rahma Rehabilitation Hospital

Our efforts to complete the Al Rahma Rehabilitation Hospital in Hebron are ongoing, with significant progress made on construction. We continue to seek funding for interiors and equipment to fully operationalize the facility.

ATLS Training

Our Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) trainings continue to make a significant impact. Every two months, Palestinian physicians from the West Bank travel to Wolfson Medical Center to participate in these crucial sessions. Thanks to renewed funding from USAID through Operating Together, we have secured support for this program for another two years. This training is essential in preparing physicians to handle traumatic injuries effectively, thereby improving patient outcomes in emergency situations.

Medical Simulation Training at BGU

In addition to ATLS training, we are also facilitating other medical simulation-based education at Ben Gurion University (BGU) for nurses. This hands-on approach to training allows nurses to practice and refine their skills in a controlled, realistic environment, enhancing their readiness to face real-life medical emergencies. The accompanying research will lay the groundwork for a comprehensive proposal to establish a medical simulation training center in Palestine. Such a center would be a monumental step forward in advancing healthcare education and capacity building in the region.
